About This Program
Rapper Serengeti, composer/producer Son Lux and singer/songwriter Sufjan Stevens offer listeners “an odd mix of personalities and musical styles [resulting in] something quite beautiful” (The Consequence of Sound). Inspired by the work of contemporary visual artist Jim Hodges, the trio will release its sophomore recording in conjunction with the first comprehensive survey of Hodges’ work in the U.S., opening at the Walker Art Center February 2014. The exhibition will feature the new music, with further details to be announced fall 2013.

Co-commissioned and co-presented with the Walker Art Center
